Cricket is always ready to create records no matter what age you are and how long you've been playing.
England O70s opener Chris Evans proved that this week when after dropping a catch at slip in the first over of the match v Kent he stayed in situ and remarkably then took six catches at slip as Kent were dismissed for 105 with the other four wickets all being catches as well.
Has either happened before in 60s/70s cricket? Here’s a link to the scorecard.
Meanwhile up North Nick Gaywood plundered 161 not out and over in Essex Mel Hussain made an unbeaten 133.
Six teams retain 100% records in O60s Div 2, with 5 teams unbeaten in Division 3.
Only match took place across Division 4 and 5.
