For many senior cricketers one of the highlights of the year is the Malta Seniors Cricket Festival

We are delighted therefore to have on this episode the founder and tournament director, Frank Spiteri

Frank’s family originate from Malta and since his return he's been a key driving force of Maltese Cricket, not only as the current leading run scorer for Malta in a series of ICC tournaments but also promoting the game and running this hugely popular tournament.

Nine teams are taking part in 2026 including a Canadian team and an Australian team and also present at various points will be Henry Blofeld, Chris Cowdrey and Devon Malcolm

All matches are played on the famous Marsa ground

Malta has a climate which enables cricket to be played pretty much all year round with local summer and winter leagues.
